When Mike noticed that his wife, Sabrina, got a yellow wristband at the hospital, he immediately felt that something was wrong. Because of her illness she'd spent a lot of time in the hospital, but she always received a plain white wristband, never a yellow one. When Mike first noticed the wristband, he hurried over to the reception desk, already feeling that something was off. He leaned over the desk and almost shouted, “Excuse me! Why does my wife have a yellow wristband?” His voice was edged with worry. The receptionist looked up, momentarily taken aback by his intensity.
